1. Player and Staff Respect
The discord and server are no places for religious, political, or otherwise sensitive off-topic discussions. Remember that we are a community of all races, religion and nationalities.
Role play that is deemed “EXTREME” is not permitted, this includes, but not limited, to rape, slave, homophobic and racist role play.
Do not argue with any staff member regarding their judgment in-game. If you have a complaint please present a ticket in discord.
Do not spam in-game or discord chat. Do not post malicious, hurtful, pornographic or otherwise inappropriate web link, images or videos.
2. Account Responsibility & Player Name
The owner of the account is responsible for the actions of others who have access to your account. Any access to your account is deemed accountable to you and will be dealt with as such.
Offensive character names are not permitted.
3. Random Deathmatch & Vehicle Deathmatch
Do not kill others with little or no role play. This includes the use of vehicles. Intentionally pulling out a weapon and shooting someone for no reason or done as horseplay is not permitted.
4. Realistic Behavior
All players are expected to conduct themselves in a realistic manner. Despite game mechanics, it is the player’s responsibility to act “REALISTIC”. All players will participate with “value of life” in mind. We recognize the fight or flight characteristics of human behavior and understand you may have or feel you have an escape route, just make sure you justify it. Traffic violations are no place for gun battles unless you are a fugitive from justice and your freedom is in jeopardy. Radioing your gang members to avoid a red light ticket is prohibited. Law Enforcement should not pull their weapon on every car stop. Law Enforcement will not ride code two or three when they do not have a call for service. Law Enforcement officers will not walk around with a rifle on their back unless on an active call that requires the use of such a weapon. Use common sense!
5. Metagaming
Players including Police and EMS are not permitted to use a player’s ID number to find another player behind buildings, inside vehicles with tinted windows or recognize another player without some type of in-game interaction. Players are not permitted to use the information provided by watching streams or by learning knowledge that someone in your stream chat knows that you do not know. Players with multi characters cannot use tactics learned by one character to benefit another. You may not use any out of game voice communication to communicate with other players while in-game.
Players in game are not permitted to watch other player’s streams that are in game, unless you are an ADMIN, DEV or COMMUNITY SUPPORT for the purpose of enforcing server rules.
6. Powergaming
Players shall not abuse in-game mechanics to give unrealistic advantages to any other player. Combat Logging is prohibited.
7. Cop Baiting
It is prohibited to bait cops for the reason of horse play, however as we encourage well thought out role play distracting law enforcement for the purpose of a bigger mission is not considered as cop baiting.
8. Failed Role Play
Failed role play and Realistic Behavior go hand and hand, do not punch, taze, talk on the phone or radio while handcuffed. Do not use an item if you were ordered by a /me command to give up that item. Use of a game mechanic as an advantage such as escaping from prison is failed role play. If you are downed and require medical attention, you may not re-engage in the scenario at full capacity. There will be NO crime activity started within fifteen (15) minutes before or after a storm. You can not have violence without RP interaction.
9. Admin responsibilities
Admins are not to use admin powers in view of other players especially when people are streaming, unless it is absolutely necessary. In all cases if an admin is streaming, they shall never broadcast interactions with players concerning game rule breaks. Such shall always be made private. Banning players is always a last resort but shall be used to resolve an issue that interferes with server goals. Admins shall not abuse their powers for any advantage to themselves or others.
10. Organized Crime
There is no limit on how many gang or club members can be organized in a single group, however no more than six people may be involved in a bank robbery or jewelry heist and no more than four people in any other criminal activity incident. If you plan to have a bigger crime that requires more than six people, you must request admin approval.
11. No Violence Zones
No crime and/or violence is permitted within Pill Box Medical Center and the following locations...
Inside any clothing stores, barbershops, tattoo parlors and business that provide food such as BurgerShot and Cluckin Bell. These locations are not to be no retreat zones and RP that occurs elsewhere may continue providing is not escalated to involve more people (You cannot take anyone inside hostage).
At no time can a Police Officer or Government Official be kidnapped unless there are at least 2 other available Police Officers on duty.
12. Disputing a Ban
Although it is our goal to keep bans at a minimum, a special channel has been made in the discord channel for ban appeals. If you feel that you have been banned on error, you may appeal by creating a ticket in the appropriate ban appeal channel. Please state your reason you believe your ban should be lifted. The Senior Admin will have the ultimate decision.
13. Donations
This is not nor shall it ever be a pay to play server. However it should be understood that providing this platform and all the add-ons do require funding. Players are not obligated but are always welcome to donate towards the operation or betterment and enhancement of the server. Funds are non refundable. Players that wish to have MLO’s or special scripts added to the server, players must first request approval from Staff and upon approval must provide the product. Such MLO’s or scripts then become a donation and are property of the server. The server owner has no desire to make a profit and all donations received will go to the server cost. Players are however permitted to make a donation to the DEV Team if they appreciate what they do. See MEET THE STAFF on the web site.
14. Storage of Weapons
Players are not permitted to place weapons of any kind in their “Prison Pocket” also known as the #6 slot to avoid detection in a search from the Police.
15. Gang / criminal Activity
All gangs/organizations must register and complete the appropriate documentation with Never Ending Story Staff.
As a gang member, you are excluded from being able to be a Police Officer, FBI Agent or top three in SAFR. To prevent potential metagaming issues.
You may rob/kidnap more than one person in a 24hr period, but this may NOT be the same person targeted every time.

There can be no more than 5 players performing illegal activities as a group at any time. Please see gang rules for further information.
You are permitted to DEFEND your compound/clubhouse with all members, this does not count when bringing them to your compound.
Don’t wear your kuttes or flags if you work for a player owned business/whitelisted job.
Hostage(s) must be alive, not “downed” in order to start and continue negotiations.
You may NOT kidnap a government official worker if there are less than 4 in each department on-duty, but you may kidnap a government official IF you get the authority of that person, but you are not permitted to do so during a scene. You can make a scene doing this, but you cannot initiate this during another scene.
Do not use your friends/fellow org members/people you know in-city as hostages.
Anyone found to be non-compliant with this rule will be disciplined at admin discretion.
Third parties may not inject themselves with hostile intent into ongoing non-violent police calls, i.e. traffic stops, medical assistance, etc, unless you were already currently engaged with the scenario. This rule does not apply to active hostile scenes such as robberies, pursuits, or arrests.
16. Primary Language
All players must speak and understand the English language at all times. Speaking non English language is prohibited.
17. Age Requirements
All players must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
